Threads of Life Quilt & Fine Art Auction became a reality October 13th, 2007 as a result of a dream for many women with a passion to support cancer resources for patients and families facing the questions, concerns, worries, fears and hopes of a cancer diagnoses.

That first effort provided us with awe-inspiring generosity from our communities and a beautiful array of quilts, fine art and valuable items.  Profits benefit the Marshall Cancer Resource Center located in Cameron Park. 

This year we embark on our second Threads of Life event with the same passion and determination to support this vital resource.

About Marshall Cancer Resource Center:
Cancer patients and their families can find it difficult to locate and process the information needed to sort through the array of available therapeutic options and decide upon the one that is right for them.  Services at the resource center are offered to any one who asks.

Classes and support groups such as Breast Cancer Support Group, Reach to Recovery, I Can Cope, Look Good/Feel Better, Kids Count Too, Leukemia and Lymphoma Family Support Group, General Cancer Support Group, vProstate Cancer Support Group

Referrals for no/low cost mammograms for eligible patients.  All persons may apply for no/low cost mammograms.    People from other counties will be referred to similar programs in their communities for assistance.
